My daughter has long, thick hair and it's always been a battle to let me brush it, no matter how much conditioner/detangler I've used. (How do they get so many tangles? Really??) This brush was recommended by my hair stylist, so we gave it a try (this is actually her 2nd replacement brush...the dog "used" the last one as a chew toy). It works really well, eases the discomfort of getting tangles out and it's great for her to learn to brush her own hair. The only thing that would make this brush better is if it magically made her want to clean her room.
